MUSIC DIRECTORBanzerini House is seeking an experienced, passionate Music Director to join our vibrant youth theatre community. The Music Director will be responsible for overseeing musical elements of our theatre productions, leading rehearsals, and guiding young performers to develop their musical skills. Responsibilities: Direct music rehearsals and guide vocal performances for productions. Collaborate closely with directors, choreographers, and production team. Select, arrange, and prepare musical scores for performances. Assist performers in mastering vocal harmonies, dynamics, and interpretation. Foster a supportive, disciplined, and creative learning environment. Attend production meetings and contribute musical insights. Qualifications: Previous experience as a music director, preferably in youth theatre. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient piano and sight-reading abilities. Knowledge of various musical styles, particularly musical theatre. Passion for educating and inspiring young performers. VOCAL TEACHER (Private Voice & Music Theory)Responsibilities: Provide private voice lessons tailored to each student's vocal needs. Teach music theory and sight-reading in individual and small group settings. Prepare students for auditions, performances, and competitions. Monitor students' vocal health and recommend appropriate practices. Communicate progress and offer constructive feedback regularly to students and parents. Develop structured lesson plans emphasizing technique, musicianship, and confidence-building. Qualifications: Experience teaching voice lessons and music theory to children and teens. Strong vocal technique and ability to teach healthy singing practices. Competent pianist, comfortable accompanying students in lessons. Excellent understanding of music theory, ear training, and sight-reading methodologies. Enthusiastic, patient, and encouraging teaching approach. Exceptional communication skills, both with students and parents.
